Dan is President/CEO of the Central Ohio Region. Before being promoted to this position in January, 2004, Dan was President of the Wayne and Western Regions of FirstMerit Bank. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Products at FirstMerit Corporation. He was appointed to that position in May of 1997. Dan started his career with First National Bank in 1994 as Vice President and Team Leader, Commercial Loan, Southern Region. He was named Manager, Commercial Loan Southern Region in March, 1995, and was promoted to Senior Vice President/Senior Lender in July, 1996. Dan was previously Vice President and Manager of Corporate Banking for Ohio Savings Bank. His prior experience includes five years as Vice President, Midwest, Regional Manager for Glenfed Financial Corporation and Vice President for Ameritrust Company.
Dan holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from The University of Akron and an MBA from Case Western University. He is member of Rotary and a graduate of Leadership Akron. |
