Dan focuses his practice on general corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, banking and lending transactions, software licensing, and federal and state securities law. Dan’s diverse practice has included representing a wide variety of start-up entities, family-owned businesses, public companies, and individual investors. In particular, Dan has extensive experience in representing individual franchisees in all aspects of their businesses, including acquisition, leasing, and development of real estate, business and franchise acquistion, and financing. Before joining Pierce Atwood in 1997, Dan was an associate with Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone in Grand Rapids, Michigan. |
