Daniel C. McCabe is Senior Vice President, John Deere Agri Services, a position he has held since May 2005. In his position, McCabe is responsible for leading the newly-formed organization that includes information management systems and technological innovations that create visibility and operating efficiencies throughout the agri-food value chain. John Deere Agri Services effectively links customer requirements from processors, packaged goods companies, and retailers to producers through product and service offerings.
McCabe joined John Deere in 1974, holding positions at the company's Davenport, Dubuque, and Waterloo, Iowa, facilities, including serving as controller for John Deere Davenport Works and John Deere Harvester Works. In 1997, McCabe was named Vice President, Finance & Accounting for John Deere Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deere & Company, and later assumed the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at John Deere Health. In 2003, McCabe was named Vice President, Information Technology for Deere & Company.
McCabe is a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a bachelor of arts in accounting.
