Daniel C. Barr is a Partner and Co-Head of the Global Human Resources Practice at CTPartners, a premier quality executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results. Dan started his career at Pepsi where he held a number of positions, including Human Resources Director for the European and African Divisions. He later joined Blockbuster Entertainment where he headed Human Resources for nationwide video operations during the period of unprecedented expansion and growth. Dan went on to become Chief Personnel Officer at First USA at a time the company was transforming itself into the largest Visa and MasterCard issuer in the world. First USA was cited in McKinsey’s War for Talent study as a benchmark organization for best recruitment practices and for building a high-performance culture. Dan then broadened his business experience to include eCommerce initiatives by joining Walker Digital (the parent of Priceline.com) as Executive Vice President. Dan was a Founding Partner of Feehan Barr Partners, a boutique executive search firm specializing in the development of global human resources teams. Feehan Barr Partners was acquired by Christian & Timbers in September, 2005. Dan holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. He is a frequent guest lecturer at Cornell University and New York University. He was elected to serve as a member of the National Advisory Council to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in 2005 and is also a member of Legatus. Dan resides in Delaware with his wife and four children. |
