Daniel B. Seitz
Profile : Dan Seitz is a partner and chair of the firm's Health Law Group and responsible for the firm's public affairs activities conducted through its ancillary business, Bose Public Affairs Group LLC. He was formerly vice president of governmental relations for Lincoln National Corporation based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Seitz has worked in the Indiana legislature and with Indiana regulatory agencies since the early 1970s with particular emphasis on health policy and insurance matters. He is a past board member of the Public Affairs Council; a board member, co-founder and two-time former President of the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana; past chairperson and a board member and former chair of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute; a board member of the Indiana Legal Foundation; a member of the Association of Life Insurance Counsel; and a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. In 2004 Mr. Seitz was honored with the prestigious Allen C. Steere Award from the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana.

Mr. Seitz has presented dozens of seminars and written numerous articles about health policy and insurance matters as well as other issues pertaining to the Indiana legislature or legislative process. His articles have appeared in publications such as the Indianapolis Business Journal and In-Roads. He has spoken to various groups, including the Government Affairs Association of Indiana, Indiana State Public Affairs Council, Indiana Association of Counties, and the CPA Society.
