Daniel B. Martin is senior vice president of Operations for El Paso Corporation’s Pipeline Group, which is comprised of Tennessee Gas Pipeline, ANR Pipeline Company, El Paso Natural Gas, Southern Natural Gas, and Colorado Interstate Gas. In his current role, Martin oversees operations of facilities along all the pipeline companies. He is also responsible for aviation, engineering, materials and contract management, and environmental, health and safety activities.
Prior to assuming his current role, Martin served as vice president of Operations for Tennessee Gas Pipeline and Southern Natural Gas. Previously, he was vice president of Engineering for Tennessee Gas Pipeline and Southern Natural Gas, where he provided engineering support for projects in the United States and internationally. Martin held various positions with Tennessee Gas Pipeline, including director of Volume Management, director of Engineering Services, director of Project Management, and general manager of Pipeline Operations. Martin began his career with Tennessee Gas Pipeline in 1978 in the Engineering department.
He graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
Martin is a licensed engineer with the state of Texas and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He is a member of the Southern Gas Association, the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), and the INGAA Foundation. |
