Mr. Deaton, who had been Regional Executive Vice President for CTX's Southeast Region since joining the company in 1997, was named to his current position in September 2004. He leads CTX's nationwide retail branch network, consisting of about 140 offices. Prior to joining CTX, Mr. Deaton served as a Regional Senior Vice President for NationsBanc Mortgage (currently Bank of America Mortgage) covering territories in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Tennessee. He also served in two City Executive positions for North Carolina Savings and Loan and Southeastern Savings and Loan. Mr. Deaton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill receiving his B.S. degree in Business Administration. He also attended East Carolina University. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas where he is the Immediate Past President. |
