Dale B. Smith has been Chief Operating Officer since January 2006. He is also Chief Executive Officer of Mueller Group, a position he has held since August 1999. Prior to that time, Smith served as Executive Vice President of our subsidiary Mueller Co. from June 1994 to August 1999, Executive Vice President of Finance for Tyco Europe from 1992 to 1994, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Tyco from 1988 to 1992, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Grinnell Corp. from 1986 to 1988, Chief Financial Officer of Ludlow Corp. (a Tyco Company) from 1983 to 1986 and Corporate Controller for Grinnell Corp. from 1981 to 1983. From 1971 to 1981, Smith was employed by Price Waterhouse & Co. as a certified public accountant. Smith graduated from Middlebury College with an A.B. in Economics in 1967 and received an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester in 1971. |
