Craig Herrod, president and CEO of MEDHOST, has led the company to become the recognized leader in Emergency Department Information Systems. Herrod has leveraged his leadership abilities to produce distinct results for several companies during his career. Herrod dedicated 10 years to STERIS Corp. (NYSE: STE), a leading provider of innovative infection prevention, decontamination and health science technologies, that is based in Mentor, Ohio. As vice president of U.S. sales, he built a world-class sales organization from the ground up, and he drove sales from $0 to $24 million in just a few years. Herrod maintained his role as vice president of sales while the company successfully went public in 1992. Herrod’s success at STERIS provided him the opportunity to serve as president of the company’s international division, where he was called upon to further increase the company’s global presence within the marketplace.
After leaving STERIS, Herrod served as president of his own consulting firm, Market Access LLC. While leading Market Access, Herrod helped companies similar to MEDHOST realize their growth potential by providing them with his proven medical technology experience.
