Craig Starble is executive vice president and global head of Securities Finance with responsibility for directing and managing its global operations including trading, client service, sales, product development, asset/liability management, operations and business technology.
Mr. Starble joined State Street in 2005 from Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) with more than 15 years experience in fixed income trading, asset-liability and investment management. During his tenure at Fleet Bank and its predecessor, BankBoston, he played a significant role in its Asset-Liability and Capital Committee. He also has extensive experience in broker/dealer operations; bank and bank holding company funding operations and in managing equity, high-yield and fixed income matched books.
Mr. Starble co-founded Shoebuy.com, a successful e-commerce start-up venture for which he served as chief financial officer responsible for financial control, operations, technology, client management and quality control.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and government from Connecticut College.
