Clive Barwin our President & CEO is the driving force and creator of the Melt concept. Mr. Barwin a CPA by profession has had years of experience primarily with start-up business. He previously started Modatech Systems Inc a technology based company in Vancouver Canada who pioneered the area of Sales Force Automation and contact management systems, Modatech went public in 1987 on the Vancouver and Toronto stock exchanges in Canada and on the bulletin board in the USA.
Mr. Barwin also started DataWave Systems a technology based company in Vancouver, Canada which went public in 1990 on the Vancouver Stock exchange and on the bulletin board.
In late 1999 Mr. Barwin decided to embark on a less stressful life and moved to Sydney Australia to take life a little easy. After two years of enjoying the easy life Mr. Barwin packed up his golf clubs and decided he needed something more. Thus the birth of Melt, the desire to create and the love of business brings Melt to where it is today.
Brandon Barwin also brings to Melt Inc. 22 years of business experience. At DataWave Inc. Brandon was responsible for the operation, deployment and management of 1000 intelligent vending machines, and the deployment of 2000 point of sale activation devices in various retail stores across Canada and Mexico. At Click’s Furniture, Brandon had 10 years experience in furniture retail operations where he was the President & CEO of a new low cost furniture store. He has also had 8 years of experience working for the McDonalds Food Corporation where he had invaluable experience in the food industry and was quickly promoted to regional manager. |
