Christy L. Brecht, CPA is a director of Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University in 1986. She began her career in Atlanta, Georgia where she spent thirteen years as a staff accountant with Reicher and Westmoreland, P.C., was the controller for Visionscapes, Inc., and a tax manager with Tauber and Balser, P.C. In 1999, she moved back to Jamestown where she gained experience as a tax partner at Lloyd and Company C.P.A., P.C. Christy concentrates in the area of tax where she has over twenty years experience with tax planning, preparation and consulting for individuals, small businesses, family-owned businesses, including partnerships, limited liability companies, S corporations, and personal service corporations. Christy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is the current treasurer and board member of the Rotary Club of Jamestown and the Rotary Club of Jamestown Community Service Fund, Inc. Christy is a two time Paul Harris Fellow and is a member of the Penn State Erie, the Behrend College Council of Fellows. |
