Christopher Hunter, President and Chief Executive Officer Chris recently joined SDI with extensive domestic and international leadership experience in both operational and marketing roles. Most recently Chris was employed with ORICA Limited, a world leading chemical company serving multiple markets. Over the past ten years, Chris held several key executive positions including President and CEO of ORICA Latin America, Senior Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management, and Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for ORICA International. Prior to working for Orica, Chris was the Market General Manager for Laidlaw Inc. and held several general management and marketing related roles with Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) of the UK. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering, from Queens University in Ontario, Canada, and an MBA from the University of Denver. Chris has recently completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University. |
