J. Christopher Naftzger was elected a corporate officer and named assistant secretary & assistant general counsel in April 2008.
Mr. Naftzger had served as assistant general counsel since joining the company in July 2007. Prior to joining Chesapeake Mr. Naftzger was senior counsel for Koch Industries Inc. in Wichita Kansas. He was a partner with the law firm of Blank Rome LLP in Washington D.C. prior to joining Koch.
Mr. Naftzger received a bachelor's degree from Hampden-Sydney College and juris doctorate degree from the Willamette University College of Law. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar the Maryland Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. |
