Mr. Giles joined Kansas City Power & Light 1975 in the Rates and Contracts Department. He held various positions in the Regulatory area until 1988 when he became Director of Marketing.
In 1994 he returned to Regulatory as director and was responsible for strategy relationships cost studies and pricing. Mr. Giles was assigned additional responsibility for Business Planning for KCP&L in 2001. In that capacity he oversaw preparation of business plans budgets and balanced scorecards.
Mr. Giles has served on the Kansas Legislative Task Force on Retail Wheeling and the Missouri Public Service Commission Task Force on Retail Competition. He frequently testifies before the Missouri and Kansas legislatures and the Missouri and Kansas Public Service Commissions regarding utility issues and policies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. |
