Charles Christenson. Professor Christenson has been a director of the Company since 1999. He is the Royal Little Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, at the Graduate School of Business Administration at Harvard University and served as faculty chairman of both the MBA and Doctoral Programs. He received his B.Sc. degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1952, his MBA degree with high distinction from Harvard University in 1954 and his DBA degree in Managerial Economics from Harvard University in 1961. While on leave of absence from the Harvard University faculty, he also served as Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Financial Management) during the Kennedy Administration. He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Professor Christenson has also
authored or co-authored a number of books and articles on quantitative methods, management control and philosophy of science. Professor Christenson served as a director of KENETECH Corporation from 1981-2001 and also serves as a director of Boston Baroque, Inc., a not-for-profit organization performing and recording
music of the Baroque and Classical periods. |
