A. Charles Baillie served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Toronto-Dominion Bank from 1998 until his retirement in 2003. In addition to his affiliation with various educational and cultural organizations, Charles currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dana Corporation, Ballard Power Systems Inc., Canadian National Railway Company and George Weston Limited. In the past five years, he has served on the Board of Directors of Cadillac Fairview Corporation, Quebecor World Inc., Texaco Inc., the Toronto-Dominion Bank and TD Waterhouse Inc. Charles is President of The Art Gallery of Ontario, Chancellor of Queen's University and Chair of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. He holds an Honours B.A. from Trinity College, University of Toronto, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an Honorary Doctorate of Laws Degree from Queen's University. Charles currently serves as a member of the TELUS Audit Committee. |
