Mr. Martinez has over a decade of management leadership in connection with government-sponsored healthcare programs. He served most recently as president and CEO of Chartered Health Plan, Inc., and as a senior manager with CIGNA HealthCare. Mr. Martinez also previously served as executive director for the Orlando region at WellCare of Florida. In his current role, Mr. Martinez will oversee WellCare’s growth strategy in Texas, including the launch of WellCare’s networked Medicare Advantage plans.
Mr. Martinez received master degrees in Business Administration and Public Administration from City University, Seattle, WA and a bachelor’s degree with a double major in History and Political Science from Houston Baptist University, Houston, TX. |
