Cecil O. Pharr, Executive Vice President of Finance for Cypress Care, has nearly 20 years experience in corporate financial management, including oversight of financial analysis and reporting, process improvement, government compliance, and financial/operational audits. He is responsible for Cypress Care accounting and financial reporting compliance. Mr. Pharr has held positions at some of the nation's top accounting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche. A Certified Public Accountant, he has a special expertise in automation of accounting processes, internal testing of control and management for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. He is experienced in implementing software solutions for internal tracking of accounting functions and process improvements to streamline internal and external financial reporting. Mr. Pharr earned a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Emory University.A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Pharr is a Fellow Member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as a professor in the business schools at Keller Graduate School of Management, University of Phoenix and Strayer University. |
