Cathy Troyer, CPA, is a manager specializing in corporate tax. Her responsibilities include compilations, reviews, and financial statement preparation. She has been part of the Rea team since 1995. Ms. Troyer has an associate's degree in accounting from the Stark State Technical College, where she graduated with high distinction, and a bachelor's degree in management from Malone College. She also has a great deal of accounting experience, including six years as a staff accountant with another area public accounting firm and as a tax accountant for both a manufacturing company and a major public utility company. In addition, she spent eight years in sales and bookkeeping for a retail business. Ms. Troyer is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of East Central Ohio. She is a classroom volunteer for Junior Achievement, a volunteer gymnastics instructor at the Tuscarawas County YMCA, and a Parent Teacher Group member and volunteer at Dover South School. She is the past chair of the Expansion Committee and a past member of the Executive Committee for Junior Achievement. Originally from Sugarcreek, Ohio, Ms. Troyer, now lives in Dover, Ohio, with her husband, Tim, and their two children, Courtney and Regina. Her spare time is centered around the activities of her children such as swimming and gymnastics. |
