Cathy M. Mattax is Senior Vice President, Operations, for the Markets, Services and Information Division of NASD. In this capacity she oversees NASD's industry education and training programs, marketing and communications activities, and other division operations. She also serves as Chief of Staff to Doug Shulman, the President of Markets, Services and Information.
Prior to joining NASD, Ms Mattax was a Director at Fannie Mae, where she served in a variety of capacities. Most recently, she led strategy, product and business development for Fannie Mae's technology products. She also served as chief of staff to Fannie Mae's CIO, directed enterprise architecture activities and led internal consulting services.
Ms. Mattax's experience prior to Fannie Mae includes several years as a management consultant with Accenture, Nolan, Norton & Co. and KPMG Peat Marwick. Her consulting experience included benchmarking, business process reengineering, change management and technology strategy development for leading financial services organizations.
Ms. Mattax graduated from Yale University with a BA in Administrative Sciences/Operations Research and received her MBA from the University of Houston. |
