Catherine O'Brien Crum was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been a trial attorney specializing in Medical Malpractice and Health and Hospital law since 1988. Before graduation from New England School of Law, she was a critical care and surgical nurse for 12 years. After completing a clerkship with the Office of Administrative Law Judges at the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, D.C., and Boston, Massachusetts, she became an Associate Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston, representing Boston City Hospital, Mattapan Hospital, Long Island Hospital, Boston Emergency Ambulance Service as well as a risk manager and prosecutor for the Department of Health and Office of Environmental Affairs. Since moving to Colorado in 1992, Catherine has continued her trial practice, representing physicians and hospitals with the law firms of Kennedy Childs & Fogg, P.C., and Johnson, Ruddy, McConaty & Sargent, P.C. She became a shareholder in the Law firm of Kennedy Childs & Fogg, P.C. in 2003. |
