Cary Deaton was born in Columbus, Mississippi and began his practice in 1977. Following service as a trademark examiner with the United States Patent & Trademark Office, Cary practiced law with the firm of Schuyler, Banner, Birch, McKie & Beckett in Washington, D.C. His practice focuses on trademark and copyright registration and litigation, as well as general litigation and criminal defense.
