Carol A. Jackson serves as a Director of MidCountry, and is recently retired from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, where she served as Executive Vice President. Ms. Jackson joined the FHLBA in 1980 as Director of Internal Audit, after working with CPA firms in Birmingham, Mobile and Atlanta, and served in various positions during her 25-year career with the Bank. Ms. Jackson is an active civic and community leader, currently serving on the Boards of The Atlanta Renewal Community, The Carolina Affordable Housing Equity Corporation, The Atlanta Women’s Foundation and other boards and committees. Ms. Jackson was honored by the YWCA of Greater Atlanta as its 1999 Woman of Achievement and received the Shining Star award from the Atlanta Women’s Foundation. Ms. Jackson graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. |
