Dr. Carlos O'Ryan serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Automated Trading Desk. Dr. O'Ryan joined ATD in 2002, after completing his PhD studies at the University of California, Irvine, where his research focused on distributed, real-time systems. Dr. O'Ryan started his professional career at GBO, a Chilean company that develops distributed interactive simulation systems for the Chilean Army and Air Force. He also participated in the deployment of these systems for the armies of Mexico and El Salvador. He left GBO in 1997 to start his graduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where he obtained an M.S. in Computer Science. Carlos continued his graduate work at the University of California, Irvine until 2002. Dr. O'Ryan also holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (1992). |
