Carlos Babini was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Vision Sciences, Inc. in April 2007. From 2003 until recently, Mr. Babini held the position of President, International, Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Curon Medical Inc., a public start-up medical device company. Between 1999 and 2003, Mr. Babini held the position of COO at Infomedix Communication, and was the co-founder of the company Shapes International. From 1979 through 1999, Mr. Babini held various executive and managerial sales and marketing positions at US Surgical Corporation. Between 1997 and 1999 Mr. Babini served as General Manager and Vice President, Advanced Technology of US Surgical's Cardiovascular division, where he spearheaded the introduction of beating heart surgery and other innovative technologies to market, and later of the Oncology, Urology and Breast Care division. |
