Carl Eibl - Managing Director, Enterprise Partners Carl joined Enterprise Partners as Managing Director in 2003. He currently serves on the boards of several Enterprise portfolio companies, including BMS, Breach Security, DragonWave, Enviance, Identrus, NP Photonics, Preventsys, ReliOn and SKY MobileMedia. He also serves on the boards of Maxwell Technologies and Stratagene Corporation. Before joining Enterprise Partners, Carl served as President and CEO of Maxwell Technologies (NASDAQ: MWXL), a high-tech electronics corporation. Prior to that, he was President and COO of Stratagene Corporation (NASDAQ: STGN), a biotech reagent and instrument company. Before joining Stratagene, Carl worked at Mycogen Corporation, a diversified publicly held company specializing in agribusiness and biotech, where he served as Executive Vice President, then President, and finally CEO before the company was acquired by Dow Chemical in 1998. Carl holds a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in Boston, MA, and a B. A. from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY where his degree was in poetry. Carl has served as the Chairman of the Board of The Burnham Institute in La Jolla. He is currently on the Board of CONNECT. He, his wife Amy, and their two children are accomplished scuba divers.
