Carl is chairman and CEO of TSS Photography, a youth sports photography company with 250 franchisees across the United States. He is also Chairman of Allied Bank Shares a two bank holding company, on the board of directors of The Bank of Ellijay, Alliance National Bank and Primary Bank in Atlanta, and is a member of the board of directors for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. Carl was a board member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Georgia and Alabama from 1998 to 2002, before being elected to the National Board in October 2002. Carl served as vice-chair for the National Board from October 2003 to 2005. He is currently serving as chairman of the National Board. Carl explains he was "hooked" on the Make-A-Wish mission since hearing it at a golf tournament that benefited his local chapter. His Make-A-Wish experience includes chapter fundraising, volunteer development activities, service on a strategic direction task force and growth of a start-up chapter. Carl holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Western Michigan University. He and his wife live in Flowery Branch, Ga. |
