Prof. Dr. Dr. E.h. Burkhard Göschel has been a member of the iQ Power AG board of directors since May 2007.
Prof. Göschel worked for Mercedes Benz in Stuttgart before joining BMW in Munich in 1978. There in the years that followed, he held a variety of senior leadership positions in engineering and management and served as director of overall vehicle development. Göschel was appointed to BMW AG board of management in 2000. As board member he was responsible for the group’s entire scope of vehicle development and purchasing until his normal departure from the company in the fall of 2006. Today he is with BMW Motorsport GmbH responsible for BMW AG’s activities in Formula 1 racing and serves as a senior advisor to the BMW AG board of management.
Prof. Göschel holds a professorship at the Technical Universities of Munich and Graz and is active in numerous associations and engineering organizations, including the SAE where he was General Chairman of the SAE 2006 World Congress.
Prof. Göschel studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich and earned his doctorates at the Technical University of Stuttgart. |
