Bruno Melzi, is Chairman, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Melzi joined Zimmer, Inc. in 1990 as Managing Director. In 2003, Mr. Melzi was promoted to Chairman International, from Vice President and Managing Director of Italy, Germany and Switzerland, a position he held since October 1997, to his current position. Mr. Melzi has more than 35 years experience in the orthopaedics and medical products industry. Before joining Zimmer, Inc., Mr. Melzi served as General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson Italy from 1983 to 1990, as Smith & Nephew's business director for Italy from 1982 to 1983 and as executive marketing director for Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon suture division from 1980 to 1982. Mr. Melzi holds a degree in law from the University of Pavia, Italy. |
