Bruce Roe has a 20-year record of success in building and guiding teams in the development of market-leading products. Prior to joining Zhone Mr. Roe held the position of vice president of research and development for Wave 7 Optics where he led R&D of the company's fiber to the premises (FTTP) and standard-based GPON products as well as its highly successful point-to-multi-point Ethernet optical product suite. Mr. Roe also held numerous executive leadership roles with Nortel Networks including VP and GM of Nortel's Open IP Portfolio VP of technology and advanced software networking and VP of engineering. Mr. Roe earned his BS.c in computer science and mathematics and his MS.c in computer science from Calgary University. He also completed programs at Columbia Harvard Sloan School at MIT and Stanford in strategic planning technology and operations finance and innovation and change. |
