Bruce Bednarski Biography :

Mr. Bednarski leads Razorsight's strategic partnering initiatives. Prior to joining Razorsight, Mr. Bednarski served as the senior vice president of business development at iDirect Technologies. He joined iDirect in April of 2002 in a board led effort to restructure the executive management team. Immediately upon arrival, Mr. Bednarski focused on recrafting iDirect's business plan and correcting the balance sheet. Successful execution of the new plan propelled iDirect from a minor position in the broadband IP VSAT router industry to a leadership role in an extremely short period. During his tenure, iDirect grew revenues from a 2001 level of $1.5 million with sizeable losses to a run rate of over $112 million in 2006 with industry leading gross margin and net income percentage. iDirect was among the Inc. 500 fastest growing private companies for three consecutive years as well as the Deloitte's Virginia 50 fastest growing technology firms and the nation's 500 fastest growing technology firms. In November of 2005, iDirect's efforts culminated in an acquisition where it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Technologies for approximately $200 million in a cash transaction. Prior to iDirect, Mr. Bednarski was a co-founder of Net2000 Communications. Net2000 grew from a small private company, to a public company (NASDAQ - NTKK) with over 1,000 employees and a market capitalization of over $1.6 Billion at the Initial Public Offering in March 2000. Bednarski worked intimately in many facets of building the business into a full facilities based competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) with annual revenues of $150 Million. His career began as a systems engineer for Nortel Communications (formerly Northern Telecom), where he designed and installed both PBX's and Central Office class switching platforms supporting thousands of lines. Mr. Bednarski then served as a member of the systems design and implementation team for the United States Senate where he managed the Senate's complex telecommunications infrastructure. His technical expertise developed further at Verizon (formerly Bell Atlantic) as a member of the Select Engineering group where he supported cutting edge network and fast packet data services at Verizon's largest enterprise customers.Bednarski holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of New Haven, Connecticut. He trained with the United States Olympic Soccer Team in 1978 and received professional status when chosen in the 1982 Major Indoor Soccer League draft.
