Brian McHugh oversees all aspects of finance and accounting for Moderati. His deep experience in entertainment includes nearly two decades as controller at Fantasy Records in Berkeley, where he managed all accounting, personnel and royalty functions for the world’s largest independent jazz record label. After Concord Music Group acquired Fantasy Records in 2004, Brian stayed with that label as controller of the Fantasy division to help the new owners get settled in. His background also includes experience in the arts at Bowles/Sorokko Gallery and Bonhams & Butterfields, the world’s third largest auction house. Not only is he a numbers whiz, Brian tells us he’s also an Enophile and an oenophile. And no, we don’t know what that means either, but we think it has to do with the GAAP between songs. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. |
