Mr. Weiss is a Senior Professional at Ocean Park, and is the Managing Director of BSW Associates, a financial and accounting advisory services firm located in Irvine, California. Mr. Weiss specializes in complex transactions including business restructurings, capital raising activities, SEC issues and mergers and acquisitions. Prior, Mr. Weiss served as Vice President of Finance, North America and successfully led the financial turnaround of the North American operations of the world’s fourth largest toy company, TOMY Company, Ltd., with worldwide revenues in excess of $900 million. Mr. Weiss was also tasked with developing a newly formed business venture and managing the integration of a $1 billion merger. Prior to TOMY, Mr. Weiss served as Controller for Jazz Semiconductor, a spin-off of the Conexant Systems (NASD: CNXT) semiconductor manufacturing operations through a joint venture with the Carlyle Group. Mr. Weiss was responsible for preparing the company for its initial public offering, structuring joint ventures/strategic investments, oversight of all finance, accounting and reporting functions as well as the company-wide implementation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Prior, Mr. Weiss was a Senior Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
