Brian M. Gallagher served as director and president and chief executive officer for CollaGenex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 1994 until his retirement in December 2003, during that time, he also served as chairman of the board until December 2003. From 1988 until joining CollaGenex, Dr. Gallagher was employed by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and its predecessor, Squibb Corporation, in various executive positions including strategic planning, worldwide product and business development, and marketing. Starting in 1991, Dr. Gallagher was vice president and general manager of the in vivo imaging pharmaceutical division of Squibb Diagnostics, where he was responsible for drug development, and filing NDAs with the FDA and other regulatory authorities worldwide. Prior to that, Dr. Gallagher served for ten years with the E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company in a variety of pharmaceutical research, development, marketing, and business management positions. Dr. Gallagher received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Cell Physiology from St. Johns University, and his B.S. degree from St. Louis University. |
