Dr. Campion (bkcampion(at)specigen.com) brings fourteen years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He is responsible for identification, evaluation and development of strategic alliances, market research and competitive analysis. Brian founded and was VP, Business Development of Telum Corporation, an anti-infective therapeutic development company. Previously, Brian held the position of Director of Business Development at OPTIME Therapeutics. He also held laboratory director, project leader and senior scientist positions at Bioedge Research, Biophysica, and Nycomed Salutar, respectively. Brian co-invented the commercial product Eucapil®. He has published 18 research articles in leading scientific journals and is an inventor on five US patents and numerous foreign filings. Brian received B.A. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry from U.C. San Diego and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at U.C. Berkeley.
