Brian J. Hurley is executive vice president, responsible for operations in North and South America. In addition to managing more than 85 percent of the company's premium volume which flows through these two regions, Hurley is responsible for servicing existing clients both from an insurance and field engineering perspective as well as managing new business development. He is based in the company's corporate offices in Johnston, R.I., USA.
A 33-year veteran of the insurance industry, Hurley has extensive experience in corporate operations and management. He has served in his current position since 1989. Before that, he headed the company's operations in Canada serving as senior vice president, where he was responsible for client service and new business development. His tenure also included sales management positions in the company's New York, N.Y., USA, and Toronto, Ont., Canada offices.
Hurley began his career with FM Global in 1970 as a loss prevention specialist. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. He has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University (Cambridge, Mass., USA). |
