Brett Schrock joined Cornerstone Real Estate Funds as Chief Communications Officer in 2006, after working in a limited capacity with us since 2004. Mr. Schrock brings a variety of business experience to Cornerstone ranging from his tenure with Fortune 100 corporation, ConAgra, as a Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing as well as success in his own entrepreneurial ventures. In his role at Cornerstone Mr. Schrock enhances our professional communications with our internal and external customers as well as our investors. He also provides leadership to numerous cross-departmental operational initiatives. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Mr. Schrock was employed as Director of Strategic Relationships and Staff Pastor of Purpose Driven Ministries in Orange County, CA. Mr. Schrock developed and executed sales and marketing initiatives to support the implementation of the tenants of one of the world’s best selling non-fiction books in history, The Purpose Driven Life written by Pastor Rick Warren. In this capacity he served as strategic liaison and relationship developer to numerous and diverse denominations and the marketplace at large. Mr. Schrock brings a best business practices focus to Cornerstone from his experience as a former president and principal of Custom Marketing Services based in Southern California. CMS functioned as a consultative services organization providing marketing and communication services and acumen paralleling the provisions of advertising agencies to large corporate and entrepreneurial clients. Clients included industries ranging from healthcare, auto manufacturing, food manufacturing, and a wide range of consumer products. Mr. Schrock’s experience includes strategic and tactical business planning, marketing, corporate communications, human resource consultation and financial management principles. |
