Mr. Whisenant is a Principal focused on U.S. venture opportunities in business services, applied technology, and software. He is based in San Francisco. Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, Mr. Whisenant worked in investment banking at Robertson Stephens & Company in San Francisco, practiced law with the firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City, and served Price Waterhouse as a CPA.
