Brendan D. Delany is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Corporate Department where his practice focuses on real estate related and corporate lending transactions.
Prior to joining McDermott, Brendan served as law clerk to the Honorable Terrence J. McGann of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. He then joined a law firm in Maryland, where he drafted and negotiated purchase and sales agreements, ground leases and memoranda of understanding in connection with the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing and development of commercial and residential real estate as well as space lease agreements, lease amendments, and terminations of leases on behalf of commercial and residential landlords and tenants. He also incorporated and organized business entities and advised condominium associations on various issues.
During law school, Brendan served as a member for the Catholic University Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and District of Columbia and is a member of the board of trustees of the Connelly Foundation
