Helped counsel insurance company regarding implementation of nationwide insurance advertising program for multiple lines of insurance and advised client as to which states the program could be safely implemented without fear of possible statutory violations.
Second-chaired the representation of a city in multimillion dollar property tax appeal in week long trial before the Michigan Tax Tribunal involving complex valuation issues.
As part of the transactional team, counseled large gaming corporation in obtaining different state, tribal, and local gaming licenses during a nationwide acquisition of gaming corporation to ensure a smooth transition resulting in no interruptions of business for non-licensure.
As part of the litigation team, successfully helped large casino remain open for business during government shutdown resulting from state budget crisis by filing emergency lawsuit.
Successfully helped representation of foreign corporation in domesticating and collecting a California judgment worth over $600,000 in considerably little time.
Helped counsel title company in priority dispute involving questions of who was entitled to funds resulting from foreclosure by advertisement on large estate wherein the Internal Revenue Service asserted first priority status due to a federal tax lien on unpaid taxes.
