Brady W. Dougan is Chief Executive Officer of Investment Banking, Credit Suisse, Chief Executive Officer Credit Suisse Americas, and a member of the Executive Boards of Credit Suisse Group and Credit Suisse. Mr. Dougan joined the Firm in 1990. Prior to his appointment to CEO of Credit Suisse First Boston in July 2004, he was Co-President of Institutional Securities since 2002, with responsibility for the oversight of day-to-day management and strategy of Credit Suisse First Boston's Equity, Fixed Income, Investment Banking and Private Equity businesses. From 2001 to 2002, he was Global Head of the Securities Division. Prior to this role, he was Head of the Equities Division for five years. Mr. Dougan has also been Co-Head of the Credit Suisse First Boston Global Debt Capital Markets Group and Co-Head of Credit Suisse Financial Products' marketing effort in the Americas. He joined Credit Suisse First Boston from Bankers Trust where he began his career in the derivatives group.Mr. Dougan received his B.A. in Economics and his M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago. |
