Brad has been working at the intersection of finance and technology for over 19 years. He has a proven track record of launching, funding, acquiring and successfully exiting a number of new ventures. His specific focus is on team building, corporate development and M&A.
For the 10 years prior to founding Amazing, Brad had been Chairman and CEO of San Francisco based merchant bank Icon Capital Corp. which maintained associate networks in Beijing, London, Sydney, and Toronto. Icon was an aggressive investor in numerous emerging companies that have gone on to raise over $150 million. Some of these have been acquired or merged with public companies.
Brad was part of the Toronto based team that launched the Triax Growth Fund, a successful Canadian mutual fund. In less than 35 days, he and his sales team raised just over $130 million from retail investors in Ontario. The fund has gone on to manage over $1 billion in assets.
Brad was the Canadian Director for the $100 million promotional 'Campaign 95' which was an IBM sponsored retail channel push for OS2. The collective group helped generate over $500 million in new licensing revenue for IBM.
