Mr. Bernstein is a principal in the Rockville Office of Miles & Stockbridge. A lifetime resident of Montgomery County, Mr. Bernstein's practice includes general civil litigation for individuals and businesses of all sizes, including many of the Firm's real estate and financial institution clients. Mr. Bernstein has successfully litigated cases in State and Federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge in 1999, Mr. Bernstein served as the law clerk for the Honorable S. Michael Pincus in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.Mr. Bernstein has been very active in the legal community and currently serves as the Chairperson of the High School Mock Trial Competition. Mr. Bernstein previously served a two-year term on the Executive Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association and was the Chairperson of the District Court Mediation Program. His work over the years has garnered many awards, including the Committee Chair of the Year in 2004 from the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Community Service Award in both 2006 and 2007 from the Montgomery County Bar Foundation.Mr. Bernstein received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University School of Law, where he graduated with Honors.
