Ms. Foster is a founding Partner of Washington-based Foster/Searing, Ltd., a boutique executive search firm created to provide highly customized service to select clients. By limiting the number of engagements conducted, Ms. Foster is able to dedicate the type of attention to each search that her senior level clients expect. Based on her extensive experience with both established and start-up businesses, Ms. Foster brings to her clients exceptional search expertise.

Ms. Foster and her partner, James Searing, founded Foster/Searing when they spun off from Cabot Consultants, a boutique executive search firm where each served as founding Partners. During her tenure with this dynamic firm, Ms. Foster focused on senior-level positions in telecommunications and other high technology sectors.

Prior to forming Cabot, Ms. Foster was a Principal with the North American Practice of Korn/Ferry International. She has previously served as a Partner with Kirkman & Searing, a prominent East Coast executive search firm. Ms. Foster began her work in executive search when she founded a management consulting firm dedicated to strategic market planning and executive search.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Foster held positions in management consulting. She worked with Coopers & Lybrand in the firm's Management Consulting organization. There she managed engagements in strategic planning, market assessment and market planning for a broad range of information technology companies.

Just prior to joining C&L, Ms. Foster served as Vice President, Consulting for a Washington-based telecommunications consulting and conference firm where she managed a team of ten consultants in market-focused research and planning engagements. Ms. Foster began her career with AT&T's sales and marketing organization. She managed sales of major telecommunications systems to the transportation industry and developed account marketing plans as part of the National Account Sales organization.

Ms. Foster holds a BA in History and Philosophy from Duquesne University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
