Bill Rosson is president and chief executive officer of Conwood Company, LLC and Conwood Sales Co., LLC, subsidiaries of Reynolds American, Inc. He assumed his current position in January 2005.
Rosson joined Conwood in 1975 in the shipping department of the Conwood Memphis Factory in Tennessee. After several promotions within Conwood, in 1991 he became managing director responsible for Memphis manufacturing operations, engineering, and Scott Tobacco, LLC.
In 1998, he was promoted to assistant vice president of manufacturing for the manufacturing operations in Memphis and the Taylor Brothers division of Conwood in Winston-Salem, N.C.. He was promoted to vice president of administration at Conwood’s corporate offices in 2001.
A native of Springfield, Tenn,. Rosson is a Navy/Marine Corps veteran. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY.
