Bhawnesh Mathur is Senior Vice President, Supplier Marketing and Asset Management, Arrow Global Components. He is responsible for the development and execution of global supplier strategies and managing Arrow’s procurement process and asset levels to provide maximum customer support. Mathur joined Arrow in 2005 as Chief Supply Chain Officer and was appointed to his current position in 2006.
Prior to joining Arrow, he was at Sanmina-SCI (SSCI) from 2000 to 2005. Most recently, since the creation of Sanmina-SCI in 2002, he was the Executive Vice President, responsible for the start-up and profitable growth of the new Global Logistics and Services Division and the new Server Division at SSCI. Mathur had direct responsibility for operations in all major geographies and direct responsibility for $2 billion in revenue and profit. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Executive Vice President, Global Supply Chain Management, implementing new business processes and applications that leveraged SCI's global capability. From 1979 to 2000, Mathur was at IBM, serving in numerous executive positions.
Mathur holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Florida, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. |
