Bettyann Bird joined eSS in August 2007. Until recently, Ms. Bird was President, Consulting & Services, at Cardinal Health (a global healthcare company). She was responsible for generating $150 million in revenues and managed approximately 350 employees for the company. At Cardinal Health, Ms. Bird led the successful turnaround of the pharmacy outsourcing business unit, sold the pharmacy staffing business, integrated several new acquisitions, and divested the consulting business unit.Ms. Bird also contributed to the improved technology-based implementation processes for Alaris and Pyxis. Apart from leading her own clinical operations consulting firm, Ms. Bird has held leadership positions at Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and Intrahealth Systems. She has substantial experience working within the clinical operation environment at hospitals. This includes her experience as a Trauma and Intensive Care nurse. Ms. Bird graduated with an MBA from Baylor University and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University. |
