Bethany joined The John Bowles Company in 2006 assuming the role of Property Accountant. Her accounting career began in 1987 with Club Development Interests, a management company of private country clubs and city clubs, and partner with The Hyatt Corporation.
Since then, Bethany has worked in both private and public accounting roles and has performed tasks to include all aspects of office management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger reporting in addition to providing CPA ready financial statements for income tax preparation. She has also been Cash Manager at Davoil, Inc. a privately owned corporation with over $10 million in cash and additional assets.
Bethany has most recently held a position in a public accounting firm and performed tasks such as full write up duties and providing monthly or quarterly financial statements to a portfolio of over a dozen clients. In addition, she prepared annual income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and various non-profit organizations. She assisted in various audit procedures and preparation, and prepared quarterly and annual payroll compliance reports to both state and federal agencies.
At JBC, Bethany is responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports for building ownerships, as well as the revenue and expense tracking throughout the month. She works hand in hand with Property Managers and strives to maintain excellent owner/tenant relationships. |
