Mr. Hesse joined the company in 2005 as the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. With over 20 years in the optical marketplace, Mr. Hesse brings with him a wealth of experience in PON and optical access technology. He was responsible for the first Volume deployments of PON technology in Germany with Raynet. Previously, Mr. Hesse held executive and management positions at Centillium Communications, Opthos, CISCO Systems, Ericsson and Philips Communications and was a founder of FirstWave Consultants and a co-founder of FiberZone Networks.
Mr. Hesse holds a patent for a device for broadband transmission over telephony twisted pair cables (1994), was a board member of Wireless Enterprise Systems (WES) and served on the board of the German International School of Silicon Valley (GISSV) during 2003-2005. He received a Diplom Ingenieur (Masters in Engineering) from the University of Siegen, Germany. |
